Latest Features & Updates

XFrame has completed more than 50 projects across 3 continents. With each completed project we continue to enhance the circular & technical capabilities of the XFrame building system. Learn more about recent improvments below.

Improved manufacturing, panel and installation tolerances.

  • Combined with the new adjustable demountable lining system this ensures more consistent joints in prefabricated linings.

  • Allows the system to better deal with varying site conditions (i.e. out-of-level flooring, out-of-square existing structural elements).

  • Makes panel assembly and disassembly easier, leading to fewer broken parts and better reuse performance.

  • Delivers improved architectural detailing & flexibility.

Enhanced XFrame
demountable lining system

  • XFrame 010 hanging-clip design and deployment which removes the need for two-sided screw fixing for demountable linings, and removes any protruding hardware from the rear of lining panels.

  • Flush-mount demountable lining system design.

  • Double-layer prefabricated demountable lift-off lining system.

  • Options for flush-mounted demountable & adhesive free fixing of acoustic finishes over recycled Saveboard substrates.

  • Near-seamless XFrame 010 clip rail-based lining solution.

Design, testing and deployment of an XFrame specification suitable for flood resistance.

As we face more extreme weather events it is vital that we put in place resilient physical infrastructure. Buildings that can be more easily repaired after flooding make it possible for communities to recover more quickly.

Enhanced Tartan-Grid Offset Planning

  • Increases lining component standardisation in complex self-intersecting architectural plans.

  • Results in fewer unique parts which facilitates improved reuse potential.

  • Translates to lower cost, less delay's and fewer defects in projects.

  • Incoporates design of 'module offset panels' to allow architect's greater design freedom without compromising standardisation.

  • Adjustable Box-Corner System to compliment offset panel requirements.

Additional Recent Features & System Improvments

  • Simplified standardised demountable roof panel design for internal free-standing enclosed spaces.

  • New panel design can be deployed and reconfigured in smaller, more modular, segments.

  • Improved acoustics through integrated plywood skin to underside of all panels.

  • Uses less timber which allows for a more slender roof system.

  • Design and deployment of open-cavity panels for dense service articulation.

  • Improved bottom and top track design for panel leveling (adjustability), straightening, and overhead bracing.

  • Closed-loop pre-cut insulation & PET supply in two countries.

  • Engineering design and specification completed for use of XFrame in buildings with high-importance levels (New Zealand).
