57 Willis Street - Configuration 2
X-Frame panels are being reconfigured into their 2nd configuration at 57 Willis Street - stay tuned for updates!
X-Frame Series 8
Complete cut-away model showing Terra Lana Wool Blend Insulation and Abodo thermally modified internal lining panels (T&G).
X-Frame Series 8
A full cut-away assembly of the X-Frame Series 8 system. Abodo thermally modified 12mm plywood sarking with a 45mm sq. structural cavity batten bolted to the X-Frame structure. Clad in Abodo Vulcan thermally modified horizontal weatherboards (with hidden fixings).

Interior Linings (Commercial Fit-Out)
Ultralight MDF 600mm square shingles with hidden reversible and recoverable pressure fixings. These are to form backings for thin sheet metal panels of the same dimensions which will result in a 2.5m high and 8m long magnetic whiteboard.

X-Frame Interior Partition Framing
The interior non-load bearing X-Frame partitioning version allows building materials to be easily delivered to jobsites only accessible by small service lifts.
Enclosure of the Ashbourne Prototype
X-Ashbourne Prototype
Construction of our next prototype is well advanced. This 18m2 unit is located in Ashbourne, Adelaide, South Australia.
X-Frame 10SQM 1 Prototype Silvering Thermal Ply
6 months after completion the thermally modified plywood cladding is silvering. Deck construction in progress!
X-Frame Series 5 Generic Panel
Series 5 design modifications radically improve parallelization and platform framing integration capabilities through redundant modularization.
X-Frame 10SQM 2 Interior
X-Frame Galloway Prototype Interior (Unlined)
The unlined interior of the Galloway Prototype. Autex GreenStuf roll-form insulation cut into triangles fitted snugly into the X-Frame structure.

Galloway Prototype Cladding
The X-Frame Galloway prototype clad in thermally modified plywood shingles (1200mm sq.) and Steel and Tube NZ ColorSteel Ebony CustomORB Corrugated Steel.
SmartFit Glazing, Vulcan Ply Sheathing and X-Frame
X-Frame prototype 3 used thermally modified untreated plywood in conjunction with SmartFit glazing systems to form a high-performance air-tight and circular economy compatible building envelope.
Galloway X-Frame Prototype Frame
The completed X-Frame Series 4 structural frame for the Galloway prototype.
X-Frame 10SQM 2 Prototype Frame
Structural frame panel assembly.
X-Frame 10SQM 2 Prototype Fabrication
CNC production underway at Wedgerwood Joinery Alexandra.

Prototype 3 Interior Linings

X-Frame 10m2 prototype building nearing completion with timber cladding shingles and steel flashing in place.
X-Frame Prototype 3 Frame
840mm module frame installed for two walls and the floor section.
Cladding Installation
Plywood shingles installed onto a ventilated cavity over the X-Frame structure.
Cavity Batten Installation
Cavity battens connected to the X-Frame at 420mm intervals.
X-Frame Series 3 Node
X-Frame Series 3 Node assembly drawing.
Window Installation
An 500mm by 1400mm IGU installed into the X-Frame structure.
Load Testing
Lateral load testing X-Frame Series 3 at Building Research New Zealand.
3DX-Frame
Testing three dimensional horizontal truss formations of the X-Frame system.
X-Frame Internal Partition Walls
X-Frame installed as non load-bearing partition walls and ceiling’s in a warehouse space.
X-Frame Showcase
X-Frame Series 3 on display at the 2019 BUILDNZ Trade Show.
X-Frame Lateral Structural Testing
Testing the wraking resistance strength of a triple module X-Frame segment.
